The first deetell related performance was held at The Burghof – Lorrach, Germany on 14th April 2010. Stephen Morallee, Neil Seligman and the violinist Helena Winkelman collaborated to create the 8 piece work ‘Motion and eMotion’. The performance not only marked the premiere of this work but also synchronistically marked the 7th anniversary of deetell itself.

The work combined the deetell movement of Stephen and Neil with the violin play of Helena. Her violin play ranged from deetell connected spontaneous play to set compositions by Bach, Berrio, Reich and Helena’s own work.
